Stupid Bar

On January 6, a shortbread cookie and a can of beans crumble into a bar.
The bartender says, “What brings you two here?”
The shortbread snaps, “It’s National Shortbread Day—I’m here to butter up the party!”
The beans fizz, “And it’s National Bean Day—I’m here to spill the fun!”
The bartender grins, “Well, don’t get too crumbly or gassy—this bar’s already a short, beany blast!”

On January 5, a can of whipped cream and a parrot flutter into a bar.
The bartender says, “What brings you two here?”
The whipped cream squirts, “It’s National Whipped Cream Day—I’m here to top everything off!”
The parrot squawks, “And it’s National Bird Day—I’m here to tweet about it!”
